Keeping Residents and Businesses Safe During COVID-19

JEI is committed to helping residents and businesses preserve their quality of life and safety. That’s why we've come together to forward community policing goals through collaborative engagement with the Detroit Police Department and other law enforcement agencies working in the 5th and 7th police precincts. 

Officers continue to work around the clock to keep residents and businesses safe; diligently enforcing the State of Michigan's "Stay At Home" order and associated social distancing measures. This includes patrols around parks and other community recreational areas. It is critical that guidelines (as shown below) are followed during COVID-19 while visiting these areas. In addition to keeping a 6' distance between yourself and others, masks/face coverings must be worn at all times!
