East Jefferson Development Company (EJDevCo), in partnership with Jefferson East, Inc. (JEI), is holding a weeklong community engagement process to develop Building Jefferson-Chalmers Together: A Jefferson-Chalmers Mainstreet Master Plan for the East Jefferson Corridor. 

What kind of shopping and businesses would you like to see? What types of housing and public spaces would fit the area? How should the roads be used and beautified? Share your vision by attending one of our community engagement sessions listed below!

  • Aug. 27: Community Workshop, 6-8 p.m.

  • Aug. 28: Open Studio Hours, 9 a.m - 12 p.m. and 1-4 p.m.

  • Aug. 28: Public Pin-Up/Preferred Concepts Session, 5 p.m - 7 p.m.

  • Aug. 29: Open Studio Hours, 9 a.m - 12 p.m. and 1-3 p.m.

  • Aug. 30: Presentation of Draft Master Plan, 6-8 p.m.

A presentation of the Draft Jefferson-Chalmers Mainstreet Master Plan using your feedback will be presented to the community at Hope Community Church from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, August 30.
