At JEI, we’re proud to be a certified HUD housing counseling agency and a dedicated member of the Detroit Housing Network. Through our free housing counseling services, we assist homeowners in navigating the application process for the HOPE program—helping them secure exemptions that can dramatically reduce their financial burden.

In 2024, we assisted approximately 300 homeowners to apply for HOPE property tax exemptions.
