Celebrate the Redevelopment and Grand Opening of the Lenox Recreation Center

The big day has arrived! You're invited to join the festivities at the grand opening and ribbon-cutting celebration, commemorating the completion of the newly reimagined Lenox Recreation Center - Thursday, October 19th at 2pm.

We are thrilled to have spearheaded community engagement with Jefferson-Chalmers residents and stakeholders, collaborating closely with the City of Detroit Government (General Services Dept) to ensure that every voice was not just heard, but played a pivotal role in shaping the vision for this remarkable development.

This inclusive approach has yielded an amazing result - a vibrant space that intimately reflects the heart and soul of the neighborhood it serves!
