City of Detroit Hosts Important All District Call to Address Flooding, June 28

Join the Detroit Department of Neighborhoods for an update to the city’s response to recent flooding, Monday, June 28 at 5 pm.

Currently, the city is in the process of cleaning up streets, picking up damaged items from curbs, surveying damage from hardest-hit neighborhoods and gathering information from residents. The Butzel and Kemeny Recreation Centers have been opened for families without power.

Residents are encouraged to call the hotline at 313-267-8000 or fill out a damage form online via this link.

Residents are also encouraged to take photographs of damage, placed damaged goods at the curb, and to keep receipts for any cleaning or repairs for inclusion in the full claim form.
