City of Detroit offers homeowners assistance with roof repairs via Renew Detroit!

Detroit homeowners aged 62+ and local disabled residents now have access to federal recovery funds to repair to their homes as part of the Renew Detroit program offered by the City of Detroit.

This initiative is made possible by funding from the Biden Administration as part of the American Rescue Act.

This will be the first project to use some of the $826 million promised to Detroit. Roof Repair will be the priority and focus of the first phase of the plan.

Deadline to apply is October 31. Applications can be filled out online or via phone during business hours at (313) 244-0274.
