Staff Spotlight: Lutalo Sanifu, Economic Development and Civic Engagement Manager

Lutalo Sanifu joined JEI in 2018 and serves as the Economic Development and Civic Engagement Manager for East Jefferson Development Corp. (EJDevCo).  He brings commercial real estate experience and supports EJDevCo with tasks such as financial analysis, development and feasibility studies, project management, civic engagement, real estate development, economic initiatives and providing support for EJDevCo's growing pipeline of more than $100 million in real estate development activities. 

Additionally, Lutalo supports community engagement by holding monthly community meetings for the Jefferson-Chalmers Mainstreet Master Plan; conducting civic engagement for a variety of initiatives and offering support and resources to businesses throughout the East Jefferson commercial corridor.
