October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month 💜
Jefferson East, Inc. supports survivors of intimate partner and domestic violence abuse. In partnership with Wayne State University/Urban Advocacy Corps and the Detroit Police Department (5th and 7th Precincts), we offer assistance to those in need of help and safety.
"Intimate partner violence is a concern across the city. The JEI Domestic Violence (DV) advocates serve in the police precincts as a resource for residents. DV advocates assist residents - male and female- who have had violent encounters with their partners.
