East Jefferson Development Company (EJDevCo), in partnership with Jefferson East, Inc. (JEI), is holding community engagement sessions, “Building Jefferson-Chalmers Together: A Jefferson-Chalmers Mainstreet Master Plan”, for the East Jefferson Corridor. We'd like your help!

We invite you to participate in the process that will guide development in the Jefferson-Chalmers Business District and surrounding neighborhood, and direct investment in public infrastructure including streetscape, public spaces, and transportation improvements.

• What kind of shopping would you like to see?

• What type of dining options would you like to experience?

• What type of businesses would you like to see?

• How should the roads be used and beautified?

• What types of housing and public spaces would fit the area?

* Aug. 27: Community Workshop, 6-8 p.m. - Kick-Off Event!

* Aug. 28: Open Studio Hours, 9 a.m - 12 p.m. and 1-4 p.m.

* Aug. 28: Public Pin-Up/Preferred Concepts Session, 5 p.m - 7 p.m.

* Aug. 29: Open Studio Hours, 9 a.m - 12 p.m. and 1-3 p.m.

* Aug. 30: Presentation of Draft Master Plan, 6-8 p.m.

A presentation of the Draft Jefferson-Chalmers Mainstreet Master Plan using your feedback will be presented to the community at Hope Community Church from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, August 30.
