Join us for Earth Day 2019 - We’re cleaning up Elwood Park!

 In observance of Earth Day JEI, Downtown Detroit Partnership and Brownberry Bread are supporting a neighborhood cleanup of the Elmwood Park Greenway Connector Wednesday, April 24th!

Volunteers are needed and can register online at

* Registration and check in begins at 8:30 a.m. on April 24th

* The rain date is Wednesday, May 1

* Refreshments and lunch are being provided by the Detroit Police Department 7th Precinct and Meijer.

*We're expecting volunteers and residents to help cleanup the Lafayette/Elmwood Park Greenway connector that's behind Circle Drive Commons, Campau Farms and Helen Odean Butler Apartments

*Volunteers will rake out the flower beds and bag up yard waste, garbage and debris that accumulated along the Elmwood Cemetery fenceline over the winter
