JEI Receives an Award of Merit from Keep Michigan Beautiful!

We are a proud recipient of the Keep MIchigan Beautiful “Award of Merit “- granted in honor of our 2019 Earth Day Lafayette-Elmwood Greenway Clean-Up! 

We would like to graciously thank Keep Michigan Beautiful, the Downtown Detroit Partnership/Block By Block program and Bimbo/ Brownberry Bread for partnering with us on this initiative, and to all the great volunteers who helped with the clean up!

We give special acknowledgement to our Clean & Safe Initiatives Director, Krystal Fields, for the wonderful work she does in and for the community and our organization!

We also say "congratulations" to all award recipients and nominees, including the  Belle Isle Conservancy for winning a KMB "Michigan Award" for their "Keep Belle Isle Beautiful" campaign.
