Jefferson East, Inc. has partnered with AmeriCorps Urban Safety to help you protect your property! According to the Detroit Police Department, auto thefts are up 70% in the Detroit 5th Precinct district. The top three neighborhoods impacted within this precinct are:

• East English Village

• Jefferson-Chalmers

• Morningside

If you are a resident located in the East Jefferson corridor or any of its adjoining neighborhoods, including the three mentioned above, join us for a free vehicle etching and car club event taking place on Friday, October 21st, between 5:00pm - 7:00pm at the JEI Neighborhood Resource Hub - 14300 E. Jefferson Ave., Detroit, 48215.
