SAVE THE DATE 🎉🎉
Join the City of Detroit, Thursday February 11 at 5:30pm, for their next community meeting!
The City of Detroit, Parks and Recreation Division, has lead community engagement, design and construction efforts to develop of a new community center (replacing the Lenox Center) and re-design A.B. Ford Park!
The project kicked-off summer 2020. Community engagement events were held to gather feedback and ideas. These included virtual meetings, weekly office hours and a community event at A.B. Ford Park. Residents were presented with and voted on their options of choice. Data gathered from these activities have shaped the design of the new community center and the renovation of A.B. Ford Park.
The architecture firm INFORM STUDIO was secured to assist with the design of the community center. The City of Detroit is developing the design for A.B. Ford Park. The initial reveal of these designs were shown November 11th.
See the next phase of design development February 11th!
