As a 2021 awardee of the Michigan State Housing Development Authority's Neighborhood Enhancement Program (NEP), JEI is offering home repair assistance to qualified single-family homes within the Jefferson-Chalmers project area!

NEP is designed to launch improvement projects directly tied to enhancing and stabilizing communities. To help address the substantial home repair needs of the Jefferson-Chalmers neighborhood, JEI will use the $50,000 funding to provide needed improvements to single-family homes.

To be eligible*:

- Be current on your property taxes

- Have current homeowners insurance

- Total annual gross household income must be at or below 80% of the Area Median Income

- Be a single-family home (either owner-occupied OR tenant-occupied) that is within the Jefferson-Chalmers project area boundaries
